88a is DEAD's lowest durometer urethane, providing the maximum amount of grip and control. This wheel holds very well in sharp turns and is a great option for skating smooth wood, metal or concrete skateparks. However it can wear out fairly quickly on rough surfaces, and requires more bite protection if worn in the center of your frames.
